I'm JJ. I am intersex, visibly disabled, queer, biracial, poor, neurodivergent, immunocompromised, and probably a few other things society frowns upon.

My household/found family is living in the hostile US south on a single disability check that only just covers utilities. We have no food benefits, and my medicine and clinic visits are really expensive (I had May's first appointment today).

Hello, Fedi. Weekly Mutual Aid post to try and keep my partner @LukeOrion and I inside for another week. We need to raise $431 by Tuesday morning (May 19) to do that. Really frustrated about the rate going up by $40 this week. We are a disabled trans couple that’s been dealing with homelessness for over a year now. We’re trying to keep staying sheltered at an extended stay hotel while we try to raise enough for a used car to get us back on our feet.

Down to the wire again, friends!!! I STILL need $65 by 11 AM CST (15 MINUTES FROM NOW) to keep my hotel room for today and prevent a loss of shelter! This is URGENT! If I can't pay by checkout, I'm at risk of being forced to vacate! This is ESPECIALLY concerning because apparently roons are being swallowed up this weekend!
