Fatherless

My father taught me to stand my ground when I knew I was right, and he allowed me to bully anyone who bullied me and my younger brother. I was a chonky girl, and my brother was so tiny back then. He told me to take care of him and keep an eye on him in kindergarten and elementary school; bro is a year younger than me. Yeah, we were actually bullied by other kids lmao. Boys used to call me “baboon”, “king kong”, and “giant”. I’d chase them around school and give them my signature pinch, which left angry red marks on their forearms and made them cry.

My elder sister, who’s three years older than me, was taught the same thing. One day in first grade, around 11am, I was heading home when another first grader punched me in the face because I’d accidentally bumped into him while waving at my sister, who was in the schoolyard for P.E. class. I burst into tears, and fourth graders started yelling at the boy and calling for their teacher, who hadn’t seen the punch but heard me ugly crying. My sister chased the boy, pushed him to the ground, and kicked him. The teacher walked me to my school bus, completely oblivious to the fact that one of his fourth graders had just pushed and kicked a first grader.

I looked up to my father a lot as a kid, I think until I was a teenager in middle school. I used to want to become a teacher when I grew up because he was a high school teacher. He was such a charismatic teacher, and many students respected him. He was That Teacher. I knew this because I went to the same high school where he’d been teaching since 1982 lol.

He was so present throughout my development. I’m literally the girl version of him. My attitude, my looks, my rizz lmao.

So idk why misogynists LOVE to think I’m “fatherless”.

Well, I mean, in 2024, I did throw his own helmet at his face, tell him to die, and give him an ultimatum: If one day I ever come home again and he’s still alive, I’ll throat-punch him. But I said it in Bahasa Indonesia, my first language, so it actually sounded a lot more unhinged lol.

I wish I was fatherless, tf. Stop projecting lmao.
